Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year! 

On behalf of the Byars Dowdy staff, I would like to welcome everyone to Byars Dowdy Elementary school!  It is a privilege to serve as principal of this amazing school.  This school year will be a year of setting and reaching goals, working harder and smarter and taking our school and students’ achievement to the next level of GREATNESS.  At Byars Dowdy, we are dedicated to a student- centered program that promotes academic excellence through an enriched, rigorous, hands-on curriculum. 

We have an exceptional teaching and support staff that works tirelessly for the benefit of each and every student. We pride ourselves in being a place where our mission is to ensure every child’s potential is achieved- academically and socially.  

Together we form a strong partnership to ensure that all Byars Dowdy students receive an exceptional education.
