Welcome to the Lebanon Special School District. Our district serves over 4,100 students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth grade. Our school system is served by over 615 dedicated men and women who are “Committed to a Community of Excellence” for all of our students.

World Mental Health Day

Approximately one in five children in the U.S. will experience mental illness at some point in their lives (source: CDC). World Mental Health Day, observed annually on October 10, aims to raise awareness and mobilize support to improve mental health on a global scale.

About Us

The Lebanon Special School District’s mission is “committed to a community of excellence”. The district provides instruction for pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, as well as, services for children qualifying for special education. The Lebanon Special School District of Wilson County, Tennessee, was established by a special act of the Tennessee General Assembly in 1901. Originally, the school district corresponded to the Tenth Civil District. It has been enlarged twice, taking in areas of the Third Civil District.
