Byars Dowdy School is a school that is well-established with a rich tradition of academic excellence in the Lebanon community and a part of the Lebanon Special School District. Byars Dowdy is a Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth grade school that believes in laying a strong foundation for future learning. Its teachers have excellent training and many years of experience to equip them to teach children in the most effective ways. We believe that, in addition to teaching the children strong academic skills, it is important to teach character because knowledge without character is insufficient to produce success.
