Hello everyone! I would like to welcome each family to our new class this year at the Cumberland University Pre Kindergarten class. We are very excited to have all of our new friends join us in our daily learning. We have 20 students in our class who are full of energy and eagerness just as a pre k student should be. We have been learning our daily routine, beginning to learn each others names, colors and many other beginning skills. Mrs. Tina and I are so glad to have each of the students and his/her unique talents in our classrooms. Our main mode of learning is play both in our playground and in the many centers where we concentrate on a variety of skills through exploration. During these times students are taught many of their social interaction skills, as well as reinforcing the academic skills we are going over in large group. One thing that is very important is that students learn to work together and that school is a fun and safe place to be. Thank you for allowing us the honor of teaching your child.
