We only have 2 regular scheduled games in this season.  Our next game will be Saturday, January 7, 2012 @ 8:30am at Winfree Bryant.  This week we will be playing Coles Ferry.  I am looking forward to this game to see if our Lady Lions can carry over their success from their recent win against Tucker’s Crossroads.  I hope to see you at the game.

New to Byars Dowdy Elementary School this year will be a 4th & 5th grade boys and girls basketball teams.  We will be playing Coles Ferry, Castle Heights, Sam Houston, Carroll-Oakland and Tuckers Crossroads.  The games will be played on Saturdays, beginning October 22.  Try-outs for the teams will be held the week of September 12.  Stay tuned and check back for updated information.  Information sheets will be going home with students who have expressed an interest this week.  We are all very excited about this and hope to see all of you at the ball games cheering on our Byars Dowdy Lions and Lady Lions…
